Is it just me or do you think that the mainstream media is biased. After watching the aftermath of the House of Reps voting down the $700 billion bail-out package I was appalled. Not at the House of Reps, but at the media for blaming it on the Republicans. Let's review, last time I checked a number of Democrats voted against the bill as well. Hmmmm...if they had voted for it, it would have passed. Personally, I'm glad it didn't pass.
This economic "crisis" is not a partisaned issue. WAKE UP!!! Congress! Is there time for you to get your special interests written into the bill....NO!?! Is this the time to argue over party differences....NO!?!
After hearing my friend Newt on Fox News the other night, I am inclined to agree that Secretary Paulson ought to let someone else come up with a bright idea. Why would the taxpayers want to own $700 billion in bad debt....could we lend the money instead, could we change the mark-to-market rules? There are other solutions.
If you want to see first hand the nastiness the media has for the House refusing to vote for the bill, click here. It's worth it. The Democrat is wearing Blue...I actually like her (on this one issue),
