Well folks, it's with a heavy heart that I announce Tom Daschle's withdrawal!! He gets a few points from me for stepping down instead of pressing on through the confirmation process.
I have been dismayed by the American political system and the so-called lawmakers that do not follow their own laws. If the tax code is so complicated that you can't pay your taxes properly then please overhaul the code! The code books stack up to be about 10 feet worth of books.
It's one thing to make a mistake, it's another to make a mistake and ignore it until you are caught. Thank you President Obama for such quality choices.
I am truly embarassed to have Obama as president.
