Whenever I go to the airport I make sure I'm wearing shoes I can slip off in an instant. I try to wear clothing with the least amount of metal possible. I make double sure that all my liquids are 3 oz. or less and in a quart-sized ziplock bag. If I don't need any electronics other than my cell phone, I leave them at home.
Such is the life of the traveler today. The airport has turned into more of an obstacle course than anything else.
I think the government decided that things were getting too easy for us and that we have adapted so well to all the other changes that it was time for a new hurdle.
Hence the new obstacle created by the "Behavior Detection Officers."
WHAT?!?!?! There will be people monitoring our behavior and facial expressions? To find out more I've included a snippet from a news article about it.
So while TSA employees are confiscating our scissors and water bottles, they’re going to secretly be staring at us, looking for some telltale sign of terrorist intent in a grimace, a sigh, a crinkled nose? Who knows what? In the end, the Behavior Detection Officers are the ones who are really acting suspicious.
